Memorial Day Ceremony 2022 - Carrington, ND

 These pictures which were taken at Carrington Cemetery and during the Carrington Memorial Day Ceremony at Trinity Church on May 30, 2022. As usual this annual event was well attended by the community.

Call to Order was given by Commander Todd Ingebretson, after which various members of the community took a special part in the ceremony.

Linda Schuster led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Marlene Boyer and Susan Stoddard placed the wreaths of honor.

The guest speaker was Capt. Garret (Luke) Boyer, son of Gary and Marlene Boyer.

Special music, "In Flanders Field," was sung beautifully by Carrington High School Students, Gavin Anderson, Natalie Hurlbut and Sage Patzer.

Gavin played taps on his trumpet at the end of the session.

After the ceremony, the community gathered to have lunch, provided by the VFW Auxiliary with help from the American Legion Auxiliary.
